While I cannot advocate for an unassisted childbirth in Australia due to legal reasons, this website it is very interesting and empowering reading. It demonstrates that birth is completely natural and normal, and - heaven forbid if you should give birth by the side of the road - you can do it without anyone else there to coach you.

I recommend that you read it for inspiration, not for preparing yourself for an unassisted childbirth of your own.
