Ergo Baby Carriers
There is no doubt in my mind that the ERGO baby carrier is the most versatile carrier I have ever used. More and more parents want to be physically active and productive during the early stages of their child's growth and wearing their baby supports this need. Research on babywearing has also observed great benefits to the child. The ERGObaby carrier holds the baby safely and closely to the parent's body, and provides the parent with the desired mobility. It also builds parent's awareness of their child’s needs. What's so great about ERGObaby carriers? Allow me to explain - from personal experience! 1) Most obvious is, you are holding your baby close! From snuggling with your newborn (using the wonderful Heart2Heart Infant Insert) all the way up to "fling 'em on your back" preschool age or they just don't want to be carried anymore! 2) Comfy padded shoulder straps and padded waist. 3) Secure clips, expandable waist band, adjustable shoulder straps and chest strap are all great for use between both mum and dad - it always ensures a perfect fit no matter who is the wearer. 4) There is an optional waistband extender if your waist is greater than a size 20, or you can get the sport version which has a larger waist strap anyway! 5) Front, hip and back carries are all possible, and more importantly they're actually COMFORTABLE! 6) You can carry your baby for hours if necessary (think of those times when baby just won't settle). The weight of your baby is supported by your hips, not on your shoulders so you won't feel any shoulder pain after a long time. 7) Baby can see, hear and participate in what you're doing. Some say that having baby at your height helps them to figure out the world around them better, and when they're old enough to prefer walking for themselves they have a better understanding of their environment and potential dangers because they've seen how mum and dad react to situations. 8) Stylish colours, quality cottons, some rare patterns and embroidery, and some are made in organic cotton too! There's one to suit you! (Personally, I just stitched some cute little animal patches onto mine to personalise it!) 9) The handy accessories mean you can ditch the pram and go hands free with baby! I have the Back Pack and the clip on front pouch on my carrier so I never need to take a separate nappy bag or purse with me! It's so convenient! 10) Fair trade and fair labour practices are used in the production of all aspects of the baby carriers, so you can set your conscience at ease for a change!
